feel of air

I felt my life
A wall
A shimmer of a thing
A feel of air
And breath
And light
And pain
And how I present myself
See myself
What I chose to wear
Eat
Do
And I saw bone
Skin
Soft
Hair
Frizzed from inattention
Tied away from my face
I saw my lack of care
My choices
I saw power too
Unattached
Feeling the power of not being stuck in ones head
But being present in the whole body
The air was thick and warm
And I was dizzy with detachment
Sleep tugging at my eyes
Mind
Body
Bones
So I stayed awake
I must do everything now
At once
Wrestle for power and control
