FROWNY FACE

At some point
I felt younger
I had to be the one laughing
Playing around
Not taking things as seriously
As you did
While you saw the world
Pessimistically
Complaining
I try to laugh
But forgetting what I am laughing about
For every smile
You countered with a frown
I got tired of smiling
But I still felt younger
More naive
More trusting
More positive
Pretending I had no fears myself
I may act younger
But I am not a child
I wish I was still deluded
Thinking I could do anything
Your scowling making it harder
